In a tragic turn of events, former President Gerald Ford was eaten by wolves early this morning. This stunning turn of events came shortly after he crawled from his grave and roamed the White House grounds searching for brains. Not finding any, he was forced to forage outside of his unnatural habitat, which experts say put him directly in the path of a pack of wolves driven south by the force of former Vice President Al Gore.

Citizens across the country were shocked and saddened, and many organized candlelight vigils in homes and restaurants, along with light music, wine, and seating for two. "I didn't even know he was dead. Then to hear he was alive again! And then dead again! It's just all very exciting," commented bystander Dana Chase.
